What a wonderful bit of kit! Actually easier to use than anticipated and superb customer service. Highly recommended for any cyclist.
Bought one a month or so ago. The Campagnolo pin version uses the same pin on both my Chorus and Potenza derailleurs. But even with different types you can get the relevant locator pin and swapping would take seconds. So if you have different set ups on different bikes there are no issues.
So easy to use, takes seconds to position and lift the chain off the cassette allowing you to remove the wheel. I leave mine on to transport the bike in the car.
As you never touch the chain you don’t get grease on your hands. I used to put vinyl gloves on the remove and replace the rear wheel. That’s 4 gloves per session no longer impacting the environment by going off to landfill site.
Really well designed tool, I hope they go on to design one that works with mudguard stays now winter is here. If so I’ll get that as well.
First of all I’m glad the chain lift tool now is finally compatible with Campagnolo, for those of us who prefer not to put fishing gear on our bicycles. This tool is an absolute pleasure to use.

An absolutely amazing gadget for the toolbox. I used to get grease all over myself moving the bike on and off the trainer - a fucking nightmare. I bumped into this and read a review where someone complained about them not having a Campy solution and Chainlift replied saying they were working on it. And sure as shit they did, and when they commercialized it I got it. An amazing tool, solid design, great value, easy to use
If you find yourself changing wheelsets often, trying to really clean your sled, or moving your bike from a wheel off trainer to the road often, the Chainlift will make your life easier and less greasy. It takes a few tries to get it down, but once you do it’s a terrific tool that you will use much more often than most of the bicycle tools you own. As for customer service, Fernando was especially helpful. My 20 year old Chorus 10 speed derailleur had an unusual diameter. He was able to custom make a couple pivot pins and turn them around in a few days. Highly recommended.
It really works! Great tool; easy to mount on your bike and tomfit it to your groupset. Just one move to lift the chain and release your wheel.
As advertised, allows me to adjust my rear disc brake pads! And it cleans up every other rear wheel adjustment. Great bike shop addition!
